Usui Reiki

Reiki is an ancient Japanese system of natural healing. I use the form called Usui Reiki after Dr. Usui who started this lineage of Reiki. Reiki is a gentle practice of “laying on of hands” or by gently working in the energetic body of the person. Reiki means “Universal Life Force”

Reiki can be used to aid in the healing process relieving physical, spiritual, mental and emotional blocks, revitalize energy levels, speed up the healing process, while calming the mind and stimulate spiritual awareness. Reiki creates a sense of peace, health and wholeness while helping to release emotional, mental and physical pain.

Reiki is now being used in many places, from churches, to hospices, to nurses in post operation settings. There are many benefits and uses for Reiki. One of the wonderful aspects of Reiki is that when attuned to Reiki you can not only use it to help others but you are able to use it to assist in your own wellness and healing too.
